A 42-year-old woman was listed in critical condition Tuesday evening at Rush Hospital, after being involved in a wreck Tuesday afternoon.
The woman's car plunged into a Collinsville creek just before 3:00 p.m. at West Lauderdale Road and Hamrick Road.
Sheriff Billy Sollie said emergency responders were able to revive the victim, but she was seriously injured.
Firefighters from Collinsville and Martin Volunteer Fire Departments responded, along with emergency officials from Meridian, Lauderdale County deputies and Metro Ambulance.
