Advisory Lifted

Local officials Tuesday lifted a boil water notice for customers of Russell Utilities in Lauderdale County.

Users were advised to boil their drinking water on July 4 when the system temporarily lost pressure.

According to Buddy Gibson, tests by the Health department indicate the water does meet safety standards.
