Mississippi's supply of flu vaccine has been depleted.
State epidemiologist, Dr. Mary Currier, said clinics were low on the vaccine on Monday and out as of Wednesday.
A nasal vaccine mist, used in patients ages five to 49, is available at some physicians' offices.
Currier says the state has a good supply of pediatric vaccine for children six months to 35 months old.
Currier said the State Health Department has received a report about a possible flu-related death on the Gulf Coast, but it has not been confirmed.
