A man thought to be responsible for a string of burglaries in Sumter County has been arrested by York police.
Willie Otis James, 31, was arrested July 9 at his home in Eutaw.
James is charged with two house burglaries in York on the Fourth of July.
Investigators say they are now looking at evidence, which could link James to a string of burglaries in Sumter County last year.
His bond was set at $100,000.
