The Kemper County Chamber of Commerce hosted its 17th Annual Prayer Breakfast on Thursday morning.
It's held a week after the National Prayer Breakfast, so that NAS Meridian and other military personnel may attend.
"We have so many overseas that need our prayers. Our leaders need our prayers. Anybody in office needs prayer," said Juanice Evans of the Kemper County Chamber of Commerce. "And it's just wonderful to get together and be able to prayer for anything you want to. Because that is what these men are fighting for."
