A Meridian woman found a surprise this week in her oyster PO-Boy sandwich.
Sacheen Morgan was enjoying her lunch Wednesday when she spotted a small object nestled in the bun. It was a pearl.
After showing it off to several co-workers, Morgan took her find to a nearby jeweler who confirmed it was the real thing.
Morgan said she was craving seafood so she asked a co-worker to pick up the oyster sandwich from a Captain D's restaurant.
Restaurant manager Bill Walker said the fact that Morgan found pearl is rare.
Oysters used at Walker's restaurant are caught in the Gulf of Mexico and shipped frozen from Alabama.
