One man has no problem sleeping every night. He's a grandfather, walking over 8,000 miles, all in the name of "at-risk children".

Monday Norman Ball walked through Meridian. He's trying to raise awareness and money for children who go hungry.

"We sold everything," said Ball. "The van's donated. We knew something had to be done and you look around and you're the only one there to do it."

Ball received a proclamation at city hall Monday. So far, he's traveled close to 7,000 miles through the U.S. and Canada.
