More information is now available about the man found dead behind a Meridian store earlier this week.
Investigators released the preliminary results of an autopsy and the man's name on Friday.
"The individual found behind Sack and Save Wednesday morning has been identified as Hubert Jenkins, a 60-year-old from Lauderdale County," said Dean Harper, a spokesman for the Meridian Police Department. "The autopsy report indicates that it was natural causes."
MPD officials said early on that evidence pointed to natural causes, but the autopsy verified there was no foul play related to Jenkins' death.
