If there were an occasion that resulted in you or your family being separated, how much information could you provide to help find them? Most people would have a hard time.
In order to help expedite the identification process of a missing party, the city of Marion along with local businesses held an identification clinic on Saturday.
"We are trying to help the community by “ID”ing and finger printing if a mishap happened and a child is kidnapped, or abducted they will be easy to track down," said Gail Anthony with the Marion Police Department.
Over one hundred children took part in the event. It was offered to children, senior citizens and mentally challenged individuals.
The police department also honored Police Chief Kevin Taylor for his efforts with the program.
