The Kemper County Sheriff's Department reports making eight felony drug arrests over the weekend.
Sheriff Sam Tisdale said a total of 16 have been made since mid-November, as part of ongoing investigations.
The charges against the suspects range from possession and sale of cocaine and methamphetamines to manufacturing of the drug and conspiracy to distribute it.
Tisdale said other cases are being investigated.
The Sheriff's Office credited the Dekalb and Scooba Police Departments and the Board of Supervisors for their assistance.
