The Livingston, Ala., Vo-Tech Center received a brand new truck for mechanical students to work on, courtesy of Chrysler and Johnson Dodge in Meridian.

The truck will be used to teach mechanics to the students in Livingston. Instructors say it will be a great tool.

"Automotive changes every day and every year, and we want our students in Livingston to be able to get jobs out of high school with high school training," said Curtis Jones of Livingston Vo-Tech Center.

Officials with Johnson Dodge say they are glad to help, and that one day one of those Livingston students might end up working as a mechanic for the dealership.
