A U.S. Marshal defends the erasing of reporters' tapes. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia gave a speech Wednesday in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
He informed authorities he did not want to the speech recorded. During Scali's Speech a marshal took a digital recording of it from an Associated Press reporter and erased it.
As a result, the reporters committee for freedom of the press is now fighting back saying the deputy violated freedom of press laws.
