A Neshoba County jury is deliberating for a second time the fate of a man charged with murder.
Keith Sanders was convicted in 2003 in the death of 33-year-old Darryl Baxstrum.
Sanders was sentenced to life in prison, but that conviction was overturned by the Mississippi Supreme Court, and a new trial was ordered.
Baxstrum was found lying on a Philadelphia street, shot several times, in April 2003.

I knew Keith for a short period of time. He was shot in the head earlier in life... Duh people if you get shot in the head or hit your head the wrong way you will in up being mentally disturbed as well. The system has failed both Keith and the victim. He should have been charged with Manslaughter and released today!!! All the white folks on the jury are to blame along with his lawyer for not trying the case harder and producing more qualified witnesses. Shame on you all

Right. He wasn't insane when he stabbed and killed Orenthal Jones in Philadelphia in the early 90's. And I also heard he killed some people in Florida. If they let him off the hook for this, he will definitely do it again. This has to stop because there are people losing their lives at the hand of this man who claims to be insane.
