Ida Causes Some Damage in Mississippi

The Mississippi Emergency Management Agency said some counties in the southern part of the state had damage due to Tropical Storm Ida.
Here are the damages reported to the State Emergency Operations Center as of Tuesday morning:
Forrest: Debris and flooded roads. Minor power outages.
Hancock: Roads flooded around Shoreline Park.
Harrison: 150 residents without power in north Harrison County.
Jackson: Roads closed due to debris; Trees and power lines down throughout the county; About 350 residents without power in Vancleave.
Wayne: Roads blocked due to debris.
As many as six homes were also damaged in the three coastal counties due to the effects of Ida. Emergency managers say there have been no reports of injuries.
