The Steve Harvey Foundation has provided about 100 turkeys for local families this Thanksgiving.

Radio station Hot 97., which features the Steve Harvey Morning Show, delivered the turkeys to Wesley House, which will distribute them this week.

Local radio personalities joined Harvey in calling on those who can to share with others.

"So I encourage everybody this season to give back to the community," said Joe Montana.

"It's the holidays and encouraging everybody to give back. You know, some people can't have a good dinner. Some kids don't have the sources, or the parents don't have the sources to give, so we're taking time out to give back to the community," said Johnny Mac. "We're encouraging everybody to make sure they do that for everybody can have a happy, happy holiday."

Harvey's foundation is providing over 6,000 turkeys in 53 cities around the nation.
