Hargon's attorney, Wesley Evans, confirms his client has been indicted by a Yazoo County grand jury.
Evans has not seen the indictments yet, but it is likely Hargon will be arraigned Monday.
Authorities say he brutally killed his cousin Michael, Michael's wife Rebecca, and their four-year-old son James Patrick in February.
If convicted of capital murder, Hargon faces the death penalty.
If the case goes to trial, it may begin sometime in the winter. During the arraignment the indictment will be read aloud in court. The judge will ask Earnest Lee Hargon how he pleads.
Evans told the Associated Press he expects his client to plead not guilty
