An Alabama man and the 16-year-old mother of his child have turned themselves in for questioning in the murder of six of the girl's family members. The murder happened earlier this week in Crenshaw County, Alabama.

Twenty-two-year-old Westley Devone Harris and Janice Denise Ball, 16, turned themselves in late Thursday night to authorities in Crenshaw County.

Six bullet-ridden bodies were found at an isolated farm property. Harris is considered a suspect in the case, but authorities say Ball is not. She has been released into the custody of the Department of Human Services.

Crenshaw County District Attorney John Andrews says charges could be brought within the next 24 hours. Harris continues to be held for questioning inside the Lowndes County Jail.

Authorities say they still aren't sure about a motive for the killings, or even exactly when they happened.

Some weapons were recovered, but officials say they aren't sure if the guns were used in the murders.
