Emmy-winning broadcaster Regis Philbin added another credit to his lengthy resume Friday.
On his show, "Live With Regis and Kelly", Philbin was officially recognized for setting the Guinness World Record for the most hours on camera. He had 15,188 hours
On television in the United States, by the end of Friday's show.
Philbin's first regular on-camera gig took place in San Diego in 1958. The longevity record was previously held by Newsman, Hugh Downs.
"Live With Regis and Kelly" airs Monday through Friday at 9:00 a.m. on WTOK, Channel 11.
