A suspect robbed Commercial Bank on Highway 39 Wednesday about 11 a.m.
The description of the suspect is that of a young black male, between ages 18 and 25, 5' 5" to 5' 8", 150 pounds who wore a camouflage jacket and white shoes.
The MPD said he was armed with a shotgun, demanded money from a teller and fled in a black Jeep Cherokee, that had a broken driver's side rear window and fake chrome air vents on the front fender. The vehicle also had empty green and white feed sacks inside.
"The vehicle is going to be unique with that busted window," said MPD Capt. Dean Harper. "And I don't believe it had a tag on it either."
Harper said bank surveillance cameras also provided good visual evidence as well.
Anyone who knows anything about the robbery or the suspect is asked to call Crimestoppers at 601-485-1860.
