Philadelphia police confirm the death of a child Monday.
Police Chief Richard Sistrunk says a 3-year-old
girl was accidentally left in a vehicle for an undetermined amount of time.
The child was unresponsive when discovered later and taken to the hospital, where she died.
Sistrunk says no foul play is suspected, but his department will conduct a full investigation. He said the initial investigation points only to accidental death.
