Clarke Deputy Still Hospitalized

A Clarke County sheriff's deputy is still in the hospital battling serious injuries suffered in a weekend wreck.

Deputy Glenn Cook was involved in the crash Saturday on County Road 513.

Cook was going to a call when another vehicle apparently swerved into him; he swerved to miss it, and then crashed into a tree.

Cook was airlifted to Jackson, where he remained Monday evening. He was listed in critical condition.
