Authorities in west Alabama are investigating an armed robbery at the Cuba Post Office.
The incident happened just before 11 a.m. Wednesday.
Police say a man entered the post office with a gun and robbed the postmaster. Officials are looking for a black male described as about 5' 8" tall. He was wearing all black at the time of the robbery.
U.S. postal inspectors have been called in on the case.
"We initially responded to the call, but it's federal jurisdiction. So they've come in and took lead in the investigation on it," said Assistant Police Chief Eddie Larkin.
No one was injured in the robbery. The Sumter County Sheriff's Department is also assisting with the investigation.
