Driver Hits Two Pedestrians, Drives Off

Meridian Police and Metro Ambulance were dispatched to a vehicle vs. pedestrian wreck on 8th Street Thursday afternoon near 5 p.m.

A man and a woman were hit by a white male driving a white Cadillac. They suffered minor injuries according to police, and the driver drove away.

It's not clear if the victims were transported to the hospital, if you have any information about this event please call Meridian police at 601-485-1860..
