Neshoba County, Miss. Neshoba County Fair security says it hasn't dealt with much crime during the week, but there have been a few incidents of theft.
Some of the campers at the fair noticed that two nights in a row some of their baked goods and drinks were mysteriously missing.
Security set up a sting operation Tuesday night and caught two of the three juveniles who were thieving treats.
Those young men were escorted back to their parents, and cannot return to the fair this year.
Chief of security Ward Calhoun says crime is a rare occurrence at the fair.
"When you have this many people in any type of setting all together, you are sometimes going to have conflict and have problems," said Calhoun. "I think in this instance, these young men might have just been being more mischievous than anything. Hopefully, they learned a valuable lesson."
One of the boys wrote a letter of apology to the people from whom he stole and made a small monetary compensation for their losses.
