Heavy rain has caused some flooding issues all around east central Mississippi.
A vehicle stalled in high water in Newton when the driver attempted to cross.
Emergency officials had to come and rescue the driver.
The same problem happened at other roads. River levels are going up rapidly.
The Pearl River was at about 15 feet at Burnside Park in Philadelphia Monday afternoon. Flood stage is 13 feet.
The National Weather Service says before it crests on Wednesday, the Pearl is likely to get above 16 feet which will cause significant flooding problems for the park itself.
