Meridian, Miss. Community members gathered at a Meridian church Tuesday night in support of Trayvon Martin.
Many gathered at Fitkins Memorial Church of the Nazarene for a rally for the teen who was shot and killed last year in a scuffle with a neighborhood watch official in Florida.
Opinions nationwide have been passionate since George Zimmerman was acquitted ten days ago. Reverend Charles Johnson says they want to be pro-active instead of reactive. He believes many in Meridian disagree with the Zimmerman verdict.
"I find that 90% of people I talk to feel that Trayvon did not get justice," said Johnson.
Newscenter 11 cameras were not allowed inside the church for the rally.
