Meridian, Miss. Meridian Community College hosted a graduation ceremony for students in health-related fields Friday afternoon.
The ceremony included graduates from the associate degree nursing program, the practical nursing program and the health care assistant program. Around 115 students walked across the stage, and many of them will be headed right into jobs.
"These students, most of them will go right into the workforce," said MCC vice-president Dr. Barbara Jones. "They are equipped with skills so that they can go into a healthcare area depending on what level of degree they got."
