MPD Says Victim Declines to Press Charges

Meridian, Miss.
Police say they won't be filing charges after an armed robbery early Thursday in downtown Meridian.

Officials say it happened about 1 a.m. in the 1900 block of Front Street, near Union Station.

Police say the victim was robbed by two white males who had a knife. The suspects were quickly located and the property was returned to the owner, who decided that he did not want to press charges.
