Marsh Sentenced for Capital Murder

A defendant in the murder of Thomas Tedeschi has been sentenced to life in prison.

District Attorney Bilbo Mitchell says Lamontaye Marsh, 25, pleaded guilty to the charge.

Tedeschi was found dead off Highway 145 in August 2011.

Marsh received life in prison without the possibility of parole.

Tedeschi was from North Carolina and was in Meridian for a short time to work on upgrading cell phone towers.
