Multi-County Community Service Agency took time today to thank everyone who volunteers their time with Meals on Wheels.
Every day more than 200 people are served a hot meal at their homes.
Coordinator Mary Brooks says the luncheon is just a small way of saying thank you.
"This is the one time of the year that we show our volunteers how much we appreciate what they do all year," said Brooks. "They deliver meals to 241 home-bound citizens in Meridian. We have different churches and organizations that come out and deliver Meals on Wheels to the clients that are not able to get out. "
Brooks says over 140 people volunteer with Meals on Wheels.
