The Neshoba County Fairgrounds played host to tourism officials from across the state Thursday.
The annual retreat gives tourism directors from across Mississippi a chance to collaborate and share what they've done over the past year and what their plans are for the future.
The president of the board is Clarksdale Tourism Director Kappi Allen, and she says that Mississippi has plenty to offer potential visitors.
Allen says her main goal for the retreat is to name an Executive Director for the state tourism board. That's a position that has been vacant for several years.
