Pain at the Pump Continues

The pain at the pump will not go away. Prices at the pump have made a huge jump in the last week.

A number of stations in the Meridian area are charging around $3.70 for a gallon of regular unleaded. That is a little above the state average, which Gasbuddy.com says is $3.62.

Prices are up in Mississippi and Alabama more than 50 cents from a month ago.

The national average is $3.72.
