A pedestrian who was struck and killed by a state trooper's vehicle has been positively identified.
Authorities say Miebes Miguel Arbizo of Vaiden, Miss., was the victim in that collision. He was walking on Highway 145 when he was struck by the trooper car.
Arbizo had apparently been working in Quitman recently and was staying at the Western Hotel, near where the accident happened.
