Police Searching for Armed Robbery Suspect

Meridian Police say they are searching for a man involved in an armed robbery on Friday night.

Investigators say a man robbed a woman at gunpoint around 6:15 p.m. at the intersection of 16th Avenue and 17th Street. Authorities tell Newscenter 11 that the suspect took several hundred dollars from the victim. The suspect is described as a black male, wearing blue jeans and a red shirt.
