Second Lauderdale County House Fire Destroys Home

A single-family home on Chip Pickering Drive in Lauderdale County was destroyed by fire on Monday evening.

Samdale, Northeast, Toomsuba, and Lauderdale volunteer fire departments responded to a call around 6:00 Monday evening. The home was fully-involved when firefighters arrived.

No one was injured as a result of the fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
