Northcrest Baptist Church in Meridian hosted "Secret Church" on Good Friday.
It's a live streaming broadcast from Birmingham that continued well into the night.
Pastor David Platt of Birmingham started the program several years ago after spending time in countries where Christians are persecuted for their faith.
"Today being Good Friday you know suffering points back to Jesus on the cross," says Northcrest organizer Ben Shirley, "and we'll celebrate that [Jesus] is risen on Sunday on Easter, so I think that's really significant tonight."
The simulcast was shown in more than 10 countries Friday.
