Threat Leads to Extra School Security

Lauderdale County authorities say they placed extra security at a local school on Wednesday after receiving a threat online.

Investigators say the threat was made through social media against Southeast Lauderdale School. Authorities have not revealed who made the threat. The sheriff's department placed several extra deputies on campus as a precaution.

The school already has a school resource officer on campus.
