Kemper County authorities say 85-year old James C. Little of Scooba was the victim of a crash involving a train.
Sheriff James Moore says Little was killed at a railroad crossing in downtown Scooba on Friday afternoon. Moore says a passenger in Little's vehicle, Herbert Handy, was injured.
A train conductor told Sheriff Moore that the vehicle stopped before accelerating across the track.
Moore tells Newscenter 11 that the exact cause of the crash is under investigation.
