An Amtrak train collided with a vehicle Friday morning in Laurel.
WDAM-TV reports that the driver of the vehicle drove around cross guards and into the path of the passenger train.
However, the occupants of the vehicle were able to get out before impact and their injuries were not deemed life-threatening.
Authorities said the train was traveling at 44 mph.
