Truck Crash Sends Driver to Hospital

Officials in Lauderdale County are looking into the cause of a tractor trailer crash on Interstate 20-59.

County officials tell Newscenter 11 the crash happened Sunday evening on Interstate 20-59 near the Russell-Toomsuba area.

The truck was the only vehicle involved in the accident. We're told it was carrying paper and plastic products.

The truck did catch on fire and the driver was taken to a local hospital by ambulance.
