Police have charged two men with murder in a shooting on 10th Avenue in Meridian.
28-year-old Anthony Martin Davis, of Meridian, was charged Friday in the death of Jadarrian Jimerson, 23.
The incident happened near the 2900 block of 10th Avenue around midnight Aug. 21.
Witnesses said Jimerson was walking on the sidewalk when at least three men got out of a vehicle and shot him.
In addition to the murder charge, Davis has also been charged with shooting into an occupied dwelling and felon in possession of a firearm. His bond was set at $250,000, $100,000, and $25,000 respectively.
17-year-old Paul Raphael Brown, Jr, of Meridian, is also charged with murder in Jimerson's death. His bond was set at $250,000.
Police Chief James Reed said more charges could be forthcoming against Brown and Davis as the investigation continues, and more arrests are expected in the Jimerson case.
