UBS Makes Urgent Appeal

United Blood Services says it has a need for all negative blood types.

UBS said it also expects donations to drop due to people traveling for the Easter weekend.

Officials say recent tornadoes and destruction in the Dallas, Texas, area brought with it the urgent need for O negative blood.

United Blood Services at 1177 Bonita Lakes Circle
is open: Monday and Tuesday 11 a.m.-5 p.m.; Wednesday and Friday 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; Thursday, closed; Saturday 8 a.m.-2 p.m. and Sunday from 12 noon-4 p.m. The center is closed Easter Sunday.
