Eleven people, including two from Meridian and Newton, are facing charges in what authorities are calling one of the biggest marijuana rings in Mississippi.
36-year-old Jesse Jerome Hall of Newton and 40-year-old Charlie Earl Powell of Meridian are both charged in the case, along with men from Scott County, Jackson, and Texas.
They're accused of trying to distribute more than a thousand kilograms, or 220 pounds, of marijuana.
