A longtime local radio variety show announced Wednesday that it's moving to television.
The creators of the Sucarnochee Revue announced they're beginning a new, weekly television show on Mississippi Public Broadcasting.
The musical variety show, which features musicians from across east Mississippi and west Alabama, is recorded monthly at the Temple Theater in Meridian, and at the University of West Alabama. Those shows will be turned into the weekly MPB shows.
"This show's got a motor all its own," said White. "We're trying to hang on like you do a bad cutting horse sometime, but we think we've got a good cutting horse."
White says he expects the shows to begin airing at the beginning of 2011.
