MHSAA Penalizes Philadelphia High School

The Mississippi High School Activities Association has penalized Philadelphia High School for an incident Friday night at its football game with Neshoba Central.

The MHSAA says Philadelphia players should have moved out of the end zone to allow the Neshoba Central Band to exit the field after their half-time program.

The association says Philadelphia's coach must write a letter of apology to the Neshoba Central Band, and the schools must submit a plan to prevent future incidents from happening.
