Crowds of people showed up for their last and final chance to see the Sparkle and Twang Exhibit at the MSU Riley Center.

The exhibit opened on July 13th and has been open since.

According to Betty Lou Jones, the President of the Jimmie Rodgers Foundation, roughly 3,000 people have toured through exhibit.

"We are so excited about how many people who have visited. And the visitors have been local people. They've been tourist. They've been people who came from surrounding states because they heard about Sparkle and Twang. We're excited about the success of this event."

Sparkle and Twang will be headed back to Nashville. That's where it will be refurbished and put in storage for a while. This is being done so that it can come back out brand new.

While this was not my cup of tea I think it was good for the City. Help: Why don't people like you just shut up and quit running down things you don't care about and let the people that like something you don't care about have their fun without negitive comments. I'll try and get you a porn show under a bridge somewhere.

The Sparkle and Twang exhibit was wonderful! Marty Stewart has put together a wonderful montage of all kinds of country music memorabilia, and I'm so grateful he chose to share it with the MSU-Riley Center.
