Philadelphia police say they think they might have identified a woman found hanging in a tree over the weekend.
Investigators say a person who possibly knew the woman has given them a name, but they are withholding it right now pending further investigation. The body was discovered hanging from a tree on East Myrtle Street. Police still have not made a ruling on whether it was suicide or murder.
"We are investigating it as a Suicide/Homicide. Until we are comfortable whether it's either or, we are not going to realize any information," said Chief Richard Sistrunk.
Police say they do believe the woman was of Asian Descent.
