Hattiesburg Police Sgt. Allen Murray said at a news conference Tuesday that Patricia Loftin Brown and Cleothus Wilkerson, both of Bassfield, were arrested Monday night.

Murray says each has been charged with three counts of accessory after the fact of aggravated assault in the shooting of Martez Smith, Tim Green and Deddrick Jones.

The incident happened early Sunday at Remington's Hunt Club.

The three players were still hospitalized Tuesday in fair condition at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg.

This is a sad situation. These young people made a bad choice to go to that place. Maybe something can be learned by this event. Mainly .... Don't play with fire because you may get burned and stay away from places like the Hunt Club.... You may get shot.... Or worse.
