A wreck on Interstate 20 has killed a man and woman from Pelahatchie.

The Clarion-Ledger reports that Rankin County Coroner Jimmy Roberts identified them as Susie Norwood and Wesley Grant. He did not know their ages.

Roberts says they were passengers in a car that ran off the highway at mile marker 66. He says they were killed instantly and the driver and another passenger were taken to University of Mississippi Medical Center.

The accident remains under investigation.
