The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks advises boaters to make sure they have a current license and valid boat registration before using public access fishing and boating areas.
“We will have officers on the water and one of the primary things they’ll be looking for is a valid license,” MDWFP Chief of Law Enforcement Steve Adcock said. “The most frequent violation we see is no license or an expired license.”
